Musi and Cake & Joe Are Teaming Up for a Valentine’s Day Dinner & Dessert Collab!

Chef Ari Miller of Musi BYOB, along with Cake & Joe, the new gourmet cake and coffee shop in Pennsport, are teaming up for a Valentine’s Day collaborative dinner and dessert appropriately named “Mousse & Musi,” available for pickup on Sunday, February 14th at Musi, located at 100 Morris Street in South Philadelphia.

The package includes Musi’s Maui Lavender Ponzu seasoned red caviar hummus plate with laffa, as well as with Chili Peppah Water Pork Bits kale salad, along with Cake & Joe’s special pink mousse-filled Valentine’s Day-themed cake for dessert. The cost for dinner and dessert is $40 per person, and 40 packages will be made available for pre-order only. Musi’s regular menu items will also be available for add-on.

The sauces used in Chef Miller’s two dishes come from Kiki Aranita of Poi Dog, who recently began selling bottles of her Maui Lavender Ponzu and Chili Peppah Water online. In addition to dinner & dessert, guests can add a special “Valentine’s Day gift bag” for $20, which includes both Poi Dog sauces.

“Cake & Joe has been a welcome addition to the neighborhood, and we wanted to do something special for Valentine’s Day while keeping it a neighborhood affair,” said Miller. “This gives people the chance to check out two Pennsport restaurants while also doing something special for Valentine’s Day in a year where many people are celebrating from the comfort of their homes.”

The Valentine’s Day packages are now available for pre-order at http://frizwit.square.site. Modifications are not available, and orders can be picked up on 2/14 between 11 a.m. and 7 p.m.
