Little Walter’s and The Bakery Join Forces for One-Night-Only Blind Tasting Dinner in South Philly

Two of Philly’s most distinctive culinary voices are coming together for an intimate evening of food and collaboration. Chef Michael Brenfleck of East Kensington’s Little Walter’s and Rocco Weiss, owner of The Bakery in South Philadelphia, will host a one-night-only blind tasting dinner on Wednesday, September 10, 2025, at The Bakery (2300 S. 3rd Street).

The dinner will feature a six-course blind tasting menu that combines Italian American favorites with traditional Polish fare. Designed to be immersive and cohesive, the event will be limited to 20 guests with a single seating at 6:30 p.m. sharp. Guests are encouraged to bring their own beverages (BYOB).

Brenfleck’s participation builds on the success of The Bakery’s new After Hours by Rocco series, which presents monthly blind tasting dinners. Inviting Brenfleck to join reflects both the Whitman neighborhood’s Polish roots and the ongoing demand for authentic Polish flavors in South Philadelphia.

Tickets are $125 per person and will be released on Wednesday, September 3, at 6 p.m. via the ticket link in @thebakery.phl’s Instagram bio. Reservations are required, and availability is expected to be limited.
