Little Fish is Celebrating Their 30th Anniversary With a Week Long Dinner Series With Special Guest Chefs

When it comes to anniversaries and milestones in the restaurant world, it’s always a big deal considering the success rate for the industry. So when Little Fish announced that they will be celebrating their 30th Anniversary, we had to share the news.

The original Little Fish opened its doors back on December 11th, 1994 on 6th and Catherine which is just a block away from its current location at 746 S. 6th Street.  In 2016 Chef Alex Yoon took the helm and has since crafted a menu leaning on his extensive culinary background including time working at Micheline Star restaurants.

The 30th Anniversary celebration will include four curated dinners taking place November 18th-21st and will feature a variety of guest chefs for a unique dinning experience with a variety of options to choose from and of course it’s BYOB.

“So I’ve owned Little Fish for 8 years, but the legacy of Little Fish is a restaurant that has carried through continuously for 30 years, adapting to the time and community of Philadelphia. I see so many places that come and go so I think reaching 30 years is pretty special. We hope to reach another 30 more,” Chef Yoon states.

As for the anniversary dinner series Chef Yoon describes, “This dinner series is about collaboration.  I have been dreaming of being able to host these chefs at Little Fish for a long time. You will actually see the big dawgs on the line. The series represents a lot of what I want to eat as well. Palizzi and Tabachoy are two of my absolute favorite spots in Philly, and I’ll never say no to Thai food or Korean BBQ. So to have these guys personally making these dishes feels extra special and you can watch them make it from our open kitchen. We just want people to come and have a great time hanging out with friends and to get absolutely crushed with too much food.”

The series will feature the following:

“A sincere thank you to everyone who’s been along with us on this journey. Whether you dined at Little Fish before my time, worked with me along the way, or have special memories with us over the last 30 years – thank you for being a part of this and we hope you keep coming back as we continue to strive for more,” adds Chef Yoon
