Liberty Point (211 S. Columbus Blvd.) announced it will be throwing its inaugural Halloween party on Saturday, October 29th 8 PM – 2 AM, hosted by none other than Jay the Gentleman. Liberty Point created massive buzz in 2022 when it became the largest restaurant in the city when it opened its doors this past summer. Now this massive venue will be throwing one of Philly’s biggest Halloween bashes which includes a $5,000 in cash prizes that will be given throughout the night.
Liberty Point’s Halloween party was developed on the premise that bigger really is better and will include activities and games to keep guests entertained all night long. With the purchase of a $20 ticket, guests can expect a frightfully amazing evening including an 8 PM – 10 PM house open bar and entry for the entire night. Tickets are available here.
A variety of games and competitions will occur throughout the event, including cauldron pong, pumpkin decorating contests, an adult scavenger hunt, and more to keep you entertained while taking a break from the dance floor. DJ Pfef will be spinning hits while Jay the Gentleman of the Wooder Ice, will keep guests energized as he emcees throughout night including a costume contest.
This event will be Instagram and TikTok-ready, with over one hundred skeletons, countless lights, and other festive decorations. “The entire point of this event can be summed up in one word – FUN!” comments Neina Langford, FCM Hospitality’s Special Events Director. “While we can fully appreciate wanting to stop to capture moments with friends, the team’s job for that night is to make sure you are having so much fun that you completely forget to take your phone out. Once we decided this was the direction, we knew the only host that can offer the type of high energy and creativity to make this come true is Jay. There was never a plan B.”
Jay Vereen, known as Jay the Gentlemen for those who follow him on social media, offers years of nightlife experience in the Philadelphia area and beyond. When asked about his thoughts on this event, Jay laughs, “We are still finalizing the games and contests, but so far, the one guideline is that the more ridiculous the better. This is the Halloween party I have always wanted to host!” Guests can anticipate interactive games and contests, some self-monitored and some judged, such as Monster Mash dance-off, cauldron pong, and more. In the Halloween spirit, the largest competition of the night will be the costume contest. The largest prize for the evening goes to the best group (3 or more people), with other categories including the best duo, and the best individual. Collectively, the night will offer $5,000 in prizes, so dress to kill.
Are you a real-life vampire who does not come alive until well in the night? Admission will be available at the door, but please note that admission does NOT include the 8-10 PM open bar. This event is 21+ with proper I.D.
