Jet Wine Bar is Hosting a Lucy Lawless Wine Tasting!

What do Xena, Lucretia, Ruby Knowby and D’Anna Biers all have in common? These fictional characters were all brought to life by our number one girl-crush Lucy Lawless!

In honor of the celebrated actress and big screen goddess, Jet Wine Bar Owner and Wining Archaeologist, Jill Weber, is hosting back-to-back Lucy Lawless-themed wine tastings on September 24th and September 25th from 6:30-8:30 pm, celebrating all of her famed characters — a Warrior Princess, a humanoid Cylon, a Roman woman with a penchant for gladiators, an evil immortal, among others.

The Lucy Lawless event will be the first wine tasting hosted outside in Jet Wine Bar’s pop-up wine garden located directly next door. Attendees can choose between the tasting in the garden on Tuesday the 24th and a tasting inside in Jet Wine Bar’s lounge on Wednesday the 25th. Same wines, same Lucy.

As an archaeologist and wine enthusiast, Jill Weber’s tastings are truly unique and are inspired by her global travels and experiences. This installment of Jet Wine Bar’s Time Traveler Tasting series will transport imbibers to different regions and time periods, while exploring Lucy Lawless’ most famous characters.

Tickets for each tasting are $35 and include the five wines and light snacks. Guests will also receive 15% off their bar tab as well as special pricing on bottles of the evening’s wines to-go.
