Independence Beer Garden is Set to Open This Week Featuring Games, DJs, and 40 Beers on Tap
Who doesn’t love a good beer garden? Well it looks like Independence Beer Garden, located just steps from Independence Hall and the Liberty Bell (100 S. Independence Mall West) is set to reopen for the season on Wednesday, April 12th. With 20,000 square feet and four unique seating areas, Independence Beer Garden has become a popular spot to relax and grab some brews.
The beer garden also features picnic tables, vintage garden chairs, plenty of Adirondack chairs, as well as two bars, and large projector TV. For added entertainment, guests can enjoy an assortment of games including a giant Connect Four, Jenga, and Bagg-O. Looking for a weekend spot? Well, beginning the week after Memorial Day, live DJs will spin every Friday and Saturday to create a festive atosphere.
As far as drinks, Independence Beer Garden will offer an extensive beverage menu featuring 40 taps of regional and domestic craft beers, as well as wine, cocktails, seltzers, and non-alcoholic options.
For all you foodies, there will be several new menu items such as Mac & Cheese Bites, Spicy Caesar Salad, the Impossible Chicken Sandwich, and the Lamb Pita. Pastry Chef Abby Dahan has expanded the dessert menu as well and new options include Watermelon Sherbert Push Pop, Cinnamon-Sugar Pretzel with spiced chocolate, Funfetti Ice Cream Sandwich, and Caribou Crunch Popcorn with peanut, toffee, and marshmallow. Their classic fare will also be on hand such as an Everything Pretzel Bites, Pickle Chips, Buffalo Cauliflower, a Double Cheeseburger and a Turkey BLT.
Hours of Operation:
Wednesday and Thursday from 3 p.m. to 10 p.m., bar closes at 12 a.m.
Friday from 3 p.m. to 12 a.m., bar closes at 2 a.m.
Saturday from 12 p.m. to 12 a.m., bar closes at 2 a.m.
Sunday from 12 p.m. to 10 p.m., bar closes at 12 a.m.
Happy Hour is 3 p.m. until 7 p.m. daily.
