Hey Card Collectors, Over 100 Vendors Will Be at The Upcoming Fishtown Card Show

There’s no denying the boom in collectable cards. If you’re like me, you have already dug up the old cards you kept in your basement to check their worth. Now for those looking to expand, sell, or trade their collection, you’ll be happy to know that the Fishtown Card Show is returning May 21st. from 10 am to 4 pm at Rivers Casino. The card show will feature over 100 vendors with items ranging from sports cards to memorabilia, collectibles, art and more.

“The show began as a small event in 2021 when indoor public gatherings first opened back up as a way to get local Philadelphia sports fans & hobby collectors of all ages back together in person. We also wanted to fill the void as the only recurring sports cards & collectibles show within the city of Philadelphia. Since then, we’ve grown to a 10,000 Sq. Ft. event, attracting vendors, collectors, & sports fans from all over the East Coast to our Philadelphia hobby community,” states founder Brett Kaz.

On May 21st guests can expect over 125 vendor tables featuring a wide variety of sports and Philly related items for sale such as modern & vintage sports cards, collectibles, art, Pokémon/TCG, memorabilia, autographs, & so much more. The Fishtown Card Show is a kid/family-friendly event, with kids 10-and-under receiving free admission into the show (as well as tons of freebies from many of the awesome vendors).

“We’ve worked hard to cultivate a fun, inviting, & laid-back vibe with great music, free giveaways, and the opportunity to meet & interact with fellow collectors, sports fans, and some of the top vendors/experts in the area. It’s an eclectic mix of nostalgic adults browsing the collectibles of their childhood to wide-eyed kids just looking to open a pack of cards. We’ll even have the Phillies game streaming on large projector screens during the show. Attendees are strongly encouraged to bring in their own collections to trade, sell, appraise, or just show off!” Brett states.

“People should attend the Fishtown Card Show if they are interested in collecting sports cards, local art & collectibles, or just want to browse some of the amazing and unique items displayed. Regardless of your specific interests within the hobby, our show is a great place to come network with other local sports fans, collectors, & enthusiasts, offering a unique & exciting atmosphere where attendees can discover new items, learn from experts, & have fun. We create as smooth of an experience as possible including free on-site parking, free wi-fi, food/drink available, and a sunny outdoor patio overlooking the Delaware River (weather permitting),” Brett adds.

Tickets to the Fishtown Card Show are $10 for general admission and $15 for VIP tickets which provide early entry and can be purchased here.
