Gaul & Co. Malt House In Port Richmond Will Host a 12 Hour Long Comedy Fest This Week
Gaul & Co. Malt House (2619 E Indiana Ave.) in Port Richmond widely known for its Wit-or-Witowski” Kiebasa Cheesesteak, is will be adding another item to its menu, comedy.
On Sunday September 3rd, Gaul & Co. will present its the first-ever Philly Comedy Fest which will be a 12-hour festival showcasing comedians , podcasts, music, and more. From 12pm – 12am, Good Boy Comedy, hill host the comedy fest which will feature performances from an array of Philadelphia-bred comics including (but not limited to) Matt McCusker, Ian Fidance, Tim Butterly, Shawn Gardini, Ryan Shaner, LeMaire Lee, Dru Montana, Na’im Ali, and Rob Crews, to name a few. A host of podcasts and performance groups will also take the stage including:
- Stoner Dadz – Comedians Matt McCusker, Tim Butterly, and Sidney Gantt tackle impart “sacred knowledge” to listeners while discussing topics from a father and cannabis enthusiast joint perspective.
- Two Off the Top – An improvised comedy performance presented by local comedy podcast Durag & the Deer Tag
- Weeding Out the Stoned – “The Game Show of Sobriety Tests” hosted by Alex Grubard
- The Noble Bomb – Matt McCusker hosts as comedians try out their new material
- The Super Ultimate Audio Visual Experience – Hosted by Christian Weckesser Shawn Gardini
- Durag & the Deertag Gets Hypnotized – Durag & the Deertag return for hypnosis-induced hijinks
- Digital Bazooka – A comedy podcast hosted by James Moss and Dru Montana and dedicated to helping people over the phone
- Panties in the Mouth – Comedians Nate Marshall, Andy Malafarina, and LeMaire Lee discuss worldly issues
Philly Comedy Fest will also feature live musical acts such as comedic rapper Crack Amico, as well as The Zoo Fighters, comprised of Tim Butterly, his brother, and his producer Noah who bring their own comedic spin to hit songs. Additional special guests and performers will make appearances as well.
Gaul & Co. Malt House’s full food and beverage menu is available for purchase à la carte. Tickets to the first-ever Philly Comedy Fest are required, and are available to purchase on Eventbrite for $100 per person.
