From Our Hands Food Festival Returns to South Philadelphia With Full Lineup of Vendors, Artists, and Performances

Philly’s’s Pan-Asian culinary and cultural scene will be on full display as the From Our Hands Food Festival returns for its second year on Sunday, May 3, from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. The event will take place at Fleisher Art Memorial, transforming the parking lot into a vibrant, open-air gathering celebrating the city’s Asian and Asian American communities.

Hosted by Asian Food Collective and Roots to Table, the festival highlights local restaurants, pop-ups, chefs, artists, and nonprofit organizations, with a focus on storytelling, cultural exchange, and community connection. The event will be held rain or shine. You can reserve a free spot on Eventbrite.

Food Vendors

A diverse lineup of food vendors will offer a wide range of Pan-Asian flavors and specialties. Participating vendors include:
Moonflour Bake Shop, Habibi Supper Club, South Sichuan, Streetside, Dandoon Kitchen, Vientiane Bistro, Kith’s Khmer Kitchen and Kith’s Nonprofit, Alamodak Philly, Philly Cookie Company, Chainashta Philly, Cafe Walnut, Guilty Good Pastries, and Gapura Philly.

Art Vendors

Local artists and makers will also be featured, with handmade goods and creative works from:
Reverie Realm, Shinkai Souvenirs, Snows Design, and by.h.u.a.

Community-focused organizations will be on-site providing resources and engagement opportunities, including:
Batikh Collective, PA Loves Immigrants, Philadelphia Asian American Film Festival (PAAFF), SAAF for Change, AACF Pennsylvania, and Albustan Seeds.

Performances

Live entertainment will run throughout the festival, featuring performances by Casual Fifth, Modero Company, and Illadef.

Children’s Corner

Family-friendly programming will be available in the Children’s Corner, with activities hosted by Jessy Yoon Writes, Bach’s Books, Cat Nguyen, Jubeach1, Talia Tuck, and Midsummer Books.

From Our Hands continues to position itself as more than a food festival, offering a platform for local voices, culinary traditions, and creative expression.
