Fishtown Social Will Host Buck-a-Shuck Every Sunday in December With Oysters From Fishtown Seafood
Oyster and wine seem like a perfect combo. So, if you’ve been on the hunt for a great deal on oysters, here it is. Vanessa Wong’s Fishtown Social (1525 Frankford Ave.) will be hosting buck-a-shuck Sundays throughout December. Fishtown Seafood will help provide a lineup of sourced, high-quality oysters from Canada all the way down to Virginia.
On Sundays in December from 3 to 5 p.m., any customer who orders and opens a bottle from Fishtown Social’s special holiday bubbly bottle list (biodynamic champagne, organic prosecco and cava, pet nats galore) will get access to $1 oysters. The oysters will change from week to week. On December 3rd, the featured oysters will be Fleur du Mer from Rollo Bay, New Brunswick, Canada; December 10th will be Mystic from Ram Island, Connecticut; December 17th will be Cape May Salts from Delaware Bay, New Jersey; and December 24th will feature Psychodelicate from Mobjack Bay, Virginia (Chesapeake Bay).
