Filipino Chicken Chain Jollibee is Coming to Philly

There are certain food chains that have their own cult following and one such chain is finally coming to Philly.  The Filipino-based fried chicken joint Jollibee is scheduled to open in Northeast Philly next fall.

Those familiar with Jollibee know about its juicy chickenjoy fried chicken that’s prepared with their secret marinade and the side of spaghetti on combo meals. Established in the late 70’s, Jollibee has since boomed and eventually made its way to the U.S in 1998, setting-up shop in California.  Many other Jollibees soon popped up in other states including  Arizona, Illinois, Texas, Nevada, New Jersey and New York among others.  Now it’s finally made its way to the good ol’ commonwealth of PA.

The Philly Jollibee will be located at the corner of Bustleton and Cottman avenues and will feature dine-in and drive-thru options.
