Wine 101: Learn About Wine

For many students, Wine 101 is their first encounter with Philly Wine School—and often the beginning of deeper study. The class defines the school’s approach: challenging misinformation, grounding tasting in cause and effect, and presenting wine without pretense. Designed by a UC Davis–trained winemaker and continuously refined in the classroom, Wine 101 has become one of the most widely known introductory wine courses in America, not because it is flashy, but because it works.
