Do You Have a Cute Pet? Well, Here’s Your Chance to Feature Your Pet in Morris Animal Refuge’s Pet Calendar!

The Morris Animal Refuge is gearing up for another month of adorable pet pictures and friendly competition with the second annual Calendar Contest, running from September 1 to September 30, 2019.

After the overwhelming success of last year’s competition, Morris will once again be hosting a month-long calendar contest where supporters can submit pictures of their
pets, vote on other submissions, and campaign for their favorite animals. The $25 entry fee includes 25 starter votes, and after that, every $1 donated = 1 vote counted.   Pet owners will be able to submit their photos here. At the end of the month, the top twelve pets will be featured in the 2020 Morris Animal Refuge calendar.

“We were amazed at the support our calendar contest got last year,” said Emmy Homan, Development Manager for the Morris Animal Refuge. “It was great seeing our community so involved and seeing everyone’s adorable pets. We can’t wait to see all of this year’s entries!”

Last year, the Calendar Contest raised $9,536 for the Morris Animal Refuge, almost doubling their $5,000 goal. This year, they hope to reach at least a $12,000 goal in donations. Contest winners will not only be featured in the calendar, but will be able to choose which month their pet appears alongside, and receive a complimentary 2020 calendar.

Proceeds from the Calendar Contest will benefit the Morris Animal Refuge, which cares for and adopts out homeless pets daily from their small Center City location. Funds will go to expenses such as routine and emergency medical care, food, kennel maintenance, and community outreach.
