Dive Deep Into Frankenstein Lore at the Mütter Museum’s Meet & Geek: Fathoming Frankenstein
The Mütter Museum will host its November Meet & Geek program, “Fathoming Frankenstein,” on Thursday, November 12, from 6 to 7:30 p.m. The evening serves as the finale of the museum’s Frankenstein Pop-Up exhibit.
The program will be led by Museum Educator Jo D’Avella, who will explore the science and medicine of the early 1800s that influenced Mary Shelley’s gothic novel “Frankenstein,” along with the lasting impact of her creation. According to the museum, the event offers a deeper look at the novel’s history than the seasonal weekend pop-up exhibit, with bonus collection items on display.
Event Schedule
- 6:00–6:30 p.m.: After-hours museum access
- 6:30–7:30 p.m.: Frankenstein talk
Tickets are $20 and include after-hours access to the museum. Registration is available online, and organizers encourage attendees to RSVP to secure a spot.
