Whether you get it or you don’t, Dîner en Blanc is definitely an eye-catching event as hoards of diners clammer at various points in the city awaiting to get word on where the pop-up will take place. This year’s event will take place August 12th at an undisclosed location of course.

Guided by volunteers, these groups will then converge on a unique and unexpected setting, traveling by chartered bus or public transportation. Guests will bring their own gourmet feast, table, chairs and table setting. Over the course of the evening, they will eat and celebrate amid music, entertainment and dancing,” the site states. Over the years Philly’s Dîner en Blanc as took place in various locations including the Navy Yard, City Hall, Franklin Square as well as the on the steps of the Philadelphia Museum of Art. Speculating where the next one will take place is always part of the adventure.
