Dilworth Park is celebrating the final days of Winter at Dilworth Park this Saturday, February 18 with Center City District’s (CCD) first-ever Ice Festival. Starting at 1 p.m., intricate ice sculptures will be on display throughout the park as guests enjoy a full day of entertainment, including professional ice dancers, strolling circus arts and a frozen mini golf course.
Throughout the event, watch as artists from Ice Sculpture Philly construct a full-size, fully-functional baby grand piano made entirely from ice. At 6 p.m., a pianist from the Philly POPS will perform live.
Inside at the Rothman Orthopaedics Cabin, guests can relax and warm up with hearty seasonal dishes and hot drinks. At the bar, adults 21 and older will find specialty cocktails made with Maker’s Mark® Bourbon and Haku® Vodka, plus local and craft beers, including Troёgs and Michelob Ultra.
The Ice Festival is free to attend, but valid admission to the Rothman Orthopaedics Ice Rink is required to ice skate. Guests can purchase tickets ahead of time at rothmanrink.ticketsocket.com. As a reminder, the Rothman Orthopaedics Ice Rink will close for the season on Sunday, February 26.
