Dilworth Park Hosts Christmas Carousel Rides & Holiday Market

Made in Philadelphia Holiday Market will again transform the Dilworth Park into a holiday shopping wonderland from Saturday, November 18, 2017 to January 1, 2018. Over 50 artisans, designers, crafters and confectionaries from the greater Philadelphia region will offer gifts and holiday foods inside white, festively lit tents topped with original Herrnhut Stars. Just feet away from the tents will be the dazzling holiday Chistmas Village Carousel delighting children of all ages in the City Hall Courtyard. Made in Philadelphia Holiday Market and the Christmas Carousel join Wintergarden at Dilworth Park as part of many holiday festivities surrounding City Hall this season. The open-air pop-up market is curated by organizers of Christmas Village in Philadelphia, which will pop-up across the street at Love Park for its 10th Anniversary Season.

In its 3rd season, Made in Philadelphia Holiday Market returns with the biggest variety ever – including many new additions and more than 50 vendors in total. The holiday pop-up market will spotlight arts, crafts and gifts made and sourced from the Greater Philadelphia region. This charming winter bazaar was conceived and designed to complement Christmas Village in Philadelphia. Christmas Village spotlights gifts and unique finds from around the globe, whereas Made in Philadelphia gives attention to vendors from the tri-state area.

Visitors will have the unique chance to shop gifts and products that can’t be found at a usual shopping mall – including ornaments, toys, apparel, jewelry, decorations, home goods, artwork and more.  There will be something for everyone on Santa’s list!

While white tents topped with beautiful stars will charm the exterior of City Hall, visitors will, once again, find the dazzling Christmas Village Carousel inside the courtyard to make the visit to Made in Philadelphia Market a fun experience for the whole family.
