TINSEL TAKES FLIGHT

Last call for Tinsel Takes Flight. Philadelphia’s premiere pop-up bar is back and ready to fly into the playoffs with the city’s first-ever Philly sports fan theme pop-up bar and experience. Following sold out runs for Nightmare Before Tinsel and Tinsel Christmas Pop-Up Bar, Tinsel Takes Flight is now open through the Super Bowl at 116 S. 12th Street. THE BIRD DOG

Dietz & Watson introduced the Bird Dog to celebrate our hometown team – with an original recipe made with Dietz & Watson Eagles Beef Franks topped with French fried onions, long hot peppers and provolone cheese, nestled into an Eagles-green roll. The Bird Dogs food truck has been visiting different Philadelphia neighborhoods through the Eagles playoff run handing out thousands of free Bird Dogs to thousands of the best sports fans in the world. They are also handing out a limited number of Eagles and Bird Dogs-themed apparel including t-shirts and beanies which have proved to be super-popular. So far they have distributed more than 10,000 free hot dogs!

Philly loves their birds and Dietz & Watson does too. As an iconic local brand and official sponsor of the Eagles, the company wanted to do something special to get the fan-base fired up leading into the playoffs and throughout the playoff run, and nothing does that like great food. People all around the region are bleeding green and are hungry for a championship!

Dietz & Watson has been Philly proud since 1939. They were born and bred in Philadelphia, and the fabric of the city is woven into the DNA of the company. For over 80 years they’ve been making premium meats and cheese the right way, even if it’s the hard way. As an official partner of the Philadelphia Eagles, they want to do more than just cheer along with the legions of fans in the city, they want to feed them.

Again, these Bird Dogs are freshly made and handed out FREE to thousands and thousands of fans throughout the playoffs and Dietz & Watson will continue to add more stops leading up to the promised land in Arizona on Sunday, February 12.
