CO-OP Restaurant & Bar is Launching “Sips & Scrubs” a Special Happy Hour for Third Shift Workers
UPenn and Drexel are home to some of the busiest health care facilities including Penn Medicine and CHOP and many of the the healthcare worker’s there have schedules that aren’t your typical 9-5. CO-OP Restaurant & Bar understands this and has launched a new program that gives third shift employees their very own happy hour.
Located between UPenn and Drexel University at The Study Hotel, CO-Op’s third shift happy hour dubbed Sips & Scrubs as a homage to its neighbors in the medical field, offers a post-shift drink and bite specials. The early morning happy hour is now available Monday-Friday from 7 am – 9 am.
Guests with a medical ID will be able to enjoy $5 mimosas and Bloody Marys, plus ten percent off all food week day mornings at the corner restaurant located at 20 S. 33rd St. CO-OP’s weekday breakfast includes a wide range of sharable light bites such as the Pastry Baskey boasting various house-made pastries and House Made Buttermilk Biscuits with honey-butter and jam, while notable entrees include the Smoked Salmon Platter with lettuce, tomato, olives, capers, cream cheese, and bagel; the Lancaster Omelet with local mushrooms and market cheese; and the Breakfast Sandwich with an English muffin stuffed with scrambled eggs, local bacon, and cheddar cheese.
