Chopped Winner Chef Clara Park Is Hosting the ‘Ultimate Valentine’s Cooking Extravaganza,’ a Five-Course Interactive Cooking Experience Inspired by The Bear

If your idea of the perfect Valentine’s Day involves unforgettable food, shared experiences, and a little culinary drama (the good kind), this one’s for you. On February 13, food lovers and TV fans alike are invited to step inside a one-night-only dining and cooking experience inspired by The Bear, the hit series that redefined how we look at restaurant kitchens, creativity, and passion.

Taking place from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Academic Building (101 N. 33rd Street, Philadelphia), the Ultimate Valentine’s Cooking Extravaganza transforms date night into an immersive, hands-on culinary event designed for couples and adventurous foodies who want more than the standard prix-fixe dinner. Tickets available at ultimatevalentinesextravaganza.eventbrite.com

A Five-Course Experience Inspired by the Show

Guests will enjoy a premium five-course culinary journey, blending chef-led instruction with interactive cooking moments. The evening begins with a playful welcome cocktail—Pink Punch (don’t worry, it’s not Pepto)—paired with a caviar amuse-bouche, setting the tone for a night that balances refinement with fun.

Participants will then help prepare a menu inspired by the flavors and spirit of The Bear, including:

  • Orange & fennel salad

  • Potato chip omelet

  • Chicken piccata

  • Chicago-style wagyu beef sandwich

  • A bespoke chocolate ganache cake to finish the night on a sweet note

Guiding the experience is Chef Clara Park, founder of Eat Cetera Philly and a Food Network Champion. Through in-depth culinary demonstrations, Chef Park will walk guests through techniques, flavor-building, and professional kitchen tips—before turning things over so couples can cook together with confidence.

The evening is hosted by Jay The Gentleman, keeping the atmosphere welcoming, energetic, and fun throughout the night.
