Phillymag just released their list of the 6 finalists competing a this year’s Burger Brawl Presented by Budweiser.  Each year, Philly’s top restaurants compete for bragging rights to the best burger in town.

From a field of about 20 restaurants, the finalists were whittled down to just 6 via voting.  These 6 finalists will no go head-t0-head at The Schmidt’s Commons Thursday August 24th starting at 5:30 pm.   General admission is $40 ($35 group discounts). Attendees will get to enjoy unlimited burger samples, outdoor games, giveaways, and live music as well as vote for the winning burger.  If you’re looking to help crown Philly’s top burger you can purchase your tickets here.

Check Out the Finalists Below!

 

“Irish Rover Burger” – Irish Rover Station House

An Angus beef patty with sauerkraut, Swiss cheese and Thousand Island dressing on a fluffy pretzel bun.
 

“Double Bacon Delight” – Maggie’s Waterfront Café

A 100% Angus beef and smoked bacon patty, stuffed with cheddar-jack cheese and then topped with even more smoked bacon and cheddar-jack cheese, plus Maggie’s special BBQ sauce on a brioche roll.
 

“The Pig & Fig” – Water Wheel Tavern

The eight-ounce, chargrilled Angus beef burger is covered with creamy brie, braised pork, arugula and fig jam, served on a toasted brioche bun.
 

“Kielbasa Burger” – Lumpy Magee’s Pub and Grub

An eight-ounce, ground pork butt patty, rubbed with cracked black pepper, garlic and kosher salt and topped with Budweiser-braised sauerkraut, sweet Vidalia onions, goat cheese and spicy brown mustard, served on a toasted pub roll.
 

“Don’t Judge Me Burger” – Lions Head Bar & Grill

Cheddar, avocado, fried egg, barbecue pulled pork, smoked paprika aioli, onion rings… The most indulgent ingredients top this savory, certified Angus beef patty.
 

“Porkzilla” – The Union Tap

An Asian-fusion burger seasoned with ginger and wasabi and smothered with thick-cut pork belly, Asian barbecue sauce and house-made pickled slaw.
