Char Pizza Will Have a 5 Day Residency at Mish Mish Featuring Five Types of Pizzas
Okay pizza lovers, this pop-up is for you. Popular pop-up pizza company Char Pizza will be having a five-day residency at Mish Mish
(1046 Tasker St.) from July 6th-10th featuring pizzas, appetizers and deserts.
Guests can expect a seated dinner with the focus on pizza. “There will be some small stuff to start and some sweet treats to finish. It’s not BYOB, we have wine and beer. Hopefully it’ll feel just upscale enough whilst still being fun. To the people who have been coming to our pop ups for the last year and half, this is like nothing that we have done before so it’s uncharted territory for us,” states Char Pizza owner Viraj Thomas.
Pizzas range from $13-$20 and will feature options such as Tomato Pie, Margherita, Pepperoni, Fun Guy, and Poached Peach & Prosciutto. Guests will be able to finish their meals with the choice of either Tiramisu or Cuzzy’s Sando.
“I started my business because of working a job at target I hated. The summer before my senior year of high school( summer of 2020) I hated my job of pushing carts at my local target so I decided to buy something that I really wanted which was a portable pizza oven. I started making pizzas in August for fun and then eventually in December of 2020, I started selling pizzas out my garage to classmates and neighbors until I graduated in June of 2021. I decided that I was super passionate about this and wanted to explore where this would lead instead of going to college. So in November of 2021, I did my first real pop up at Attic Brewing In Germantown and I’ve been mainly doing the brewery pop up circuit ever since,” Viraj adds.
Dinners will be served from 5 pm -10 pm and will be by walk-in only.
