Center City SIPS is Back With Over 60 Participating Locations Offering Food, Drink, and Retail Deals
It’s back! Philly’s biggest happy hour celebration, SIPS returns this summer with more than 60 participating venues. Beginning June 7th and continuing every Wednesday through August 30th, Center City District (CCD) SIPS will offer the ultimate after-work experience with plenty of exclusive drink and food specials.
This summer time tradition takes place every week from 5 p.m.-7 p.m. Participating venues will serve $7 cocktails, including specials made with Hornitos® Tequila, $6 wine, $5 beer and half-priced appetizers. After 7 p.m., select locations will provide 15% off of dinner. From outdoor beer gardens and cocktail lounges to dance bars and some of the best restaurants in Philadelphia, there’s a place for everyone at CCD SIPS. Wooder Ice will help kick things off with a special CCD SIPS Preview party On Wednesday, May 24 from 5 p.m.-7 p.m at Pagano’s Market and Bar (2001 Market Street,). This one-night-only special event will feature exclusive SIPS pricing, live DJ entertainment, giveaways and samplings courtesy of Hornito’s Tequila®. Attendance is free for all guests 21 and older.
For the first time, the Rothman Orthopaedics Roller Rink will be open for skating during CCD SIPS for guests 21 and older. CCD SIPS at Dilworth Park presented by Hornitos® Tequila will feature live DJ entertainment and an extended space. A valid ticket is required for skating and will be available for purchase onsite. The Air Grille Garden will offer $7 Hornitos® Tequila cocktails, $6 wine and $5 Kona Big Wave beer, plus weekly food specials.
In addition to the great drink and food specials enjoy plenty of shopping deals because SIPS Style also begins this June with discounts at select retailers across Center City. Every Wednesday through the end of August, participating businesses invite shoppers to make the most of their day downtown by taking advantage of reduced-price merchandise and services. The all-day discounts, which begin at 20% off, are perfect for office workers looking for day-to-night fashion, a lunchbreak fitness class or pre-SIPS pampering.
