The 4th Annual Pierogi Fest is Back in Port Richmond With Over 100 Food & Craft Vendors, Live Music and More

When the Pierogi Festival began at Campbell Square back in 2019, ten thousand attendees came out and every single vendor sold out. Now the festival has grown with more vendors and entertainment. This year the Pierogi Fest will be held at Indiana and Thompson on May 13th from 12-5 pm, where over 100 craft and food vendors will be lined-up at this block party style festival.

“Guest will enjoy a block party, community vibes with authentic polish cuisine by some of the oldest Polish restaurants in the neighborhood including Czerws dating back to 1938 and Donna’s Bar since the fifties. We will feature tons of carnival games for kids and adults, adult beverages from Gaul and Company,”describes Melissa Michalczyk of State Street Events.

In addition to the vendors, guests will enjoy live music from Ryan Beirderman, Ray Palmer, and The Polka Band. This family friendly event will also feature a kids section with carnival games, sand art, face painting, darts and a fun house. “This event keeps the community alive, giving small businesses a platform to meet their neighbors and we believe keeping the Polish heritage present is what this event is about. Our annual T-shirts will be available for sale and we will be picking a non-profit to give back too. We will have coozies and other merchandise to purchase at our table as well. We are also working on shuttles and will post locations for pick up just like last year,” Melissa adds.
