Center City District Restaurant Week Returns This September With Discounts For Arts & Culture Venues and Parking

For nearly 20 years, Center City District Restaurant Week has given thousands of diners the opportunity to experience some of Philly’s best restaurants at a reduced price. Beginning Monday, September 12, through Saturday, September 24, the tradition gets even better.  In addition to prix-fixed pricing at more than 60 participating locations, including three-course dinners for $40 per person, and select lunches for $25 per person, CCD is also launching “Dinner and a Show,” a brand-new promotion that offers discounted tickets to some of the city’s most beloved arts and culture venues.

Starting August 11 in conjunction with the announcement of Restaurant Week, theatergoers will have the opportunity to purchase reduced price admission to performances hosted at select venues along the Avenue of the Arts, including the Kimmel Cultural Campus and the Wilma Theater.

While Restaurant Week dining discounts are only available from September 12 through September 24, the discounted Dinner and a Show tickets are available to purchase and redeem for select performances through the end of the year. To learn more about Dinner and a Show, visit centercityphila.org/dinner-show.

“Center City Philadelphia offers world-class dining, shopping and entertainment year-round. Promotions like Center City District Restaurant Week put a spotlight on those places while giving residents, workers and visitors a reason to indulge at a discounted rate,” said Michelle Shannon, Vice President of Marketing and Communications for the Center City District. “And now with Dinner and a Show, diners have even more reason to plan a visit to their favorite restaurant before enjoying a show along the Avenue of the Arts.”

“More than one million people come to the Kimmel Cultural Campus every year to see the GRAMMY Award winning Philadelphia Orchestra, the best of touring Broadway, our Jazz and Family Series, dance, and so much more,” says Crystal Brewe, Chief Marketing and Audience Experience Officer, The Philadelphia Orchestra and Kimmel Cultural Campus. “We are excited to be able to partner with Center City District and Restaurant Week in this way to enhance the already fantastic Philadelphia nightlife experience!”

“Dinner and a Show is a wonderful opportunity for theatergoers to continue their support of the arts while visiting Center City Philadelphia,” said Laura Burkhardt, Executive Director at Avenue of the Arts, Inc. “We are thrilled to welcome even more visitors to our theaters as we continue to promote Avenue of the Arts as one of the city’s premier arts and culture destinations.”

During Restaurant Week, guests can enjoy their meals indoors or outdoors, and at select locations, takeout will be offered. Additionally, adults 21 and older can enjoy special cocktails created to complement each Restaurant Week menu. Featured House of Suntory brands include Haku Vodka, Roku Gin and Toki Whisky. Tax, gratuity and beverages are not included as part of Restaurant Week pricing. Full menu and reservation information can be found at ccdrestaurantweek.com, where diners can also enter to win dinner for a year.

Discounted parking will also be offered during Restaurant Week for $9 or less at participating Interpark, Brandywine and PPA garages. Guests are encouraged to plan their transportation arrangements when making dinner reservations, or plan to access a digital parking voucher at ccdrestaurantweek.com.

Please note, discounted restaurant prices are only valid during CCD Restaurant Week, September 12-24. Discounted arts and culture tickets are available now through the end of year.
