The new outpost will feature all of the single-serving cakes available in Pennsport, as well as a few new additions. There will be freshly roasted coffee from Evan Inatome’s Elixr Coffee, with a number of specialty coffee drinks, and tea, ice-cold refreshers and Calpis beverages will also be available for purchase. House-made sandwiches and salads from Chef Sophia Morris will be available as well. Full breakfast/brunch and lunch service will remain only available in Pennsport. The Fishtown location will also feature a “Cake Happy Hour” every weekday from 4 to 6 p.m., with full special details coming later.

“We’re so excited to finally expand to Fishtown, which has become one of the most popular dining destinations in the country,” said Qi. “We’ve had such great support and success in Pennsport, but this allows us to have a bigger clientele of people who cannot make it to South Philly.”

In addition to an upstairs area with chairs and tables for dining and work, there will be a large downstairs area at the new Cake & Joe which can be used as a work/study area, as well as for private lunches and dinners. There will also be a projector available for private business meetings, as the space can be rented out with advance notice.
