Bright Light! Bright Light! The Philadelphia Film Center is Screening Gremlins in 35 mm
Can a film be iconic yet underrated at the same time? Well, when it comes to the greatest Christmas movies of all time, Gremlins (1984) should always make the list. This 80’s flick had the toy industry in the chokehold with the main character Gizmo being marketed in everything from action figures to cereal.
Now Gizmo and his arch nemesis Stripe are back on the silver screen as The Philadelphia Film Center (1412 Chestnut) is set to screen this holiday classic in 35 mm on Saturday December 9th at 6 pm.
This is a one day, one time showing. Tickets can be purchased at filmadelphia.org/events.
