Books & Grub! Chef Nicholas Elmi of Laurel Will Be Discussing His Book and Providing Food Samples at The Free Library!
Two of my favorite things, books and food will come together on November 21st at The Free Library of Philadelphia (1901 Vine St.) Authors Nicholas Elmi, chef-owner of Laurel, ITV, and Royal Boucherie and Philly-based food will be joined by travel writer Adam Erace, along with acclaimed photographer Neal Santos to discuss their book Laurel: Modern American Flavors in Philadelphia.
The hosts will moderate a discussion on French-inspired cuisine, Top Chef competitions, and what collaborative kitchen culture means in today’s food landscape. Tastings will be provided as part of the ticket price. In addition, copies of the Laurel cookbook will also be available for purchase. This intimate program is presented by the Free Library of Philadelphia’s Culinary Literacy Center.
