Ayo 215 Looks to Mix Hip Hop & Latino Trap to Be The Next Big Thing
Looking back at the long list of Philly spitters to make a name for themselves on the national and world stage is pretty impressive. However, that list begins to dwindle once it’s filtered by ethnicity, particularly Latino. Perhaps the biggest Latino name to make it out of the city is Peedi Crakk but then again he’s actually half Latino. Looking to fill the void and pave a new lane, Ayo 215 is doing all the right things.
Only about a year in the game, Ayo 215 has already garnered radio spins and is 1oo’s of thousands of downloads and streams. His YouTube videos also get tons of clicks and views. This kid is making waves without a machine behind him. His style is diverse and so is his delivery. Able to switch from English to Spanish, fast to slow, and hard hitting to melodic flows, Ayo 215 does it all.
