Attention Beer Lovers, Hawthorne’s Cafe 6th Annual IPA Block Party is Coming!

Just when we thought this town couldn’t make me love beer more than I already do here comes along a beer block party.  On Saturday May 9th, Hawthorne’s Cafe (738 S. 11th St.) will be hosting their 6th Annual IPA Block Party off the corner of 11th & Fitzwater from noon until 8 pm.

This gathering of beer snobs  features an impressive line-up of over 36 IPAs and other tasty beers for $5 each! The best part is entry is free so this beer celebration is extremely pocket friendly.  Throw in live bands, an array of tasty foods and plenty of seating, this event should be on all beer drinker’s schedule.

Hawthorne’s Cafe plans to host this block party rain or shine so if worse comes to worse we’ll all be downing pints in our rain boots.  Oh, and in case you were wondering just what beer labels will be available, here’s a preview of some of the beers that will be available:
