Adults Only Nights Return to Please Touch Museum With a Groovy 70s Theme Featuring Live DJs, Game Shows, Roller Skating and More
The Please Touch Museum is inviting adults to relive their childhood sense of play — with a retro twist. On Friday, September 19, from 7 to 11 p.m., the museum will host Museum Nights: 70’s Edition, a new 21+ event series that transforms the beloved children’s museum into a playground for grown-ups.
Museum Nights is designed to give adults the opportunity to explore the museum’s exhibits and interactive spaces in a whole new way. Each installment will feature a unique theme, live performances, playful competitions, and a cash bar — creating a one-of-a-kind evening of fun and connection.
For the inaugural 70’s Edition, guests are encouraged to dust off their bell bottoms and embrace disco fever. Highlights include:
-
DJ Mr. Geek’d spinning disco classics for a high-energy dance party
-
Classic 70’s game shows with a chance to test your luck
-
Indoor roller skating rink ($5 per person)
-
Costume contest for the best disco-inspired look
-
Performance by Great on Skates Philly to close out the night
-
Art and science workshops designed for playful creativity
-
Full access to museum exhibits across two floors
Tickets are $45 general admission | $40 for Museum Members and available at pleasetouchmuseum.org/museum-nights/
