A Tropical Oasis Pop-Up Featuring Summer Inspired Food and Entertainment is Opening in Fairmount Park
The “Getaway at the Greenhouse” is returning for 2023 next week, bringing a FREE, tropical indoor oasis to Fairmount Park this February. Philadelphia Parks and Recreation, in partnership with Constellation Culinary Group, are bringing back the weekend-long event, which will be packed with vibrant summer-inspired entertainment, food, art, and activities as an escape from the winter cold.
From Friday February 24-26th, a lineup of family-friendly programming is taking place at the Horticulture Center, a glass enclosed greenhouse with room to roam inside. Escape the cold and brisk winter weather and join indoors in a tropical oasis.
During the day guests can enjoy Family Fun Time featuring plenty of games, activities, face paint, arts & crafts and a kids DJ (featuring: Let’s Rock Recess). The evening is when the adults can come to unwind. The greenhouse will transform into a Happy Hour oasis for the adults featuring food & cocktails, live music, and activities (Food Vendors, Party Rental Ltd, DJ provided by EBE Talent.).
ID’s must be available for the purchase of alcoholic beverages & wristbands will be provided for those who are 21+. Food and beverage is available to purchase in advance of the event or on-site. Admission is free but reservations can be made here,
