A Special 5 Course Pop-Up Dinner With Cocktail Pairings and Live Music is Taking Place For a Great Cause
Are you a foodie looking for an elevated pop-up experience? Well, on January 21st a pop-up dining experience will take place at @hagertandyork (1999 E Boston St.) with five courses, cocktail pairing, and live music. The dinner will also be introducing Philly to it’s newest budding culinary star, Chef Tim Dearing (@andrechef7 ) who’s background includes Boston’s popular French-Italian hybrid restaurant, Menton.
Hosted by Roland Bui of @Com.unity.phl and Alex Cahanap of @citrine.phl who will provide the tablescape, the pop-up will also feature Chef Jared Bacheller (@sad_bach ), Menton’s current pastry chef. There will be two seatings at 5:30 pm and 8:30 pm.
Not only will this dinner be a benefit dinner but it will also serve as a preview for Little Owl ( @littleowlphilly ), a restaurant concept that Chef Dearing is looking to open in Philly in the near future.
The duo have curated a special menu which will include:
For the Love of Shrimp Cocktail-Confit tomato, horseradish, celery
Mothers Toast-Chicken liver, blueberry, rye
Unity-Chicken, butternut, peanut
Cthulhu’s Limb-Octopus, black scallop, turnip
Hands Full- Cherry, fig leaf
Cocktails pairing by @barpalmina ‘ s Nikki Graziano will be available for purchase. However, this dinner is BYOB optional. In addition guests will also get to enjoy mindful community building activities by Club Connection Marissa Le (@yolo_ono ) and as well as live Music performance by Time of Man ( @timeofmanphl ).
This special dinner was put together to raise funds for The Everywhere Project ( @the_everywhere_project )an organization offering harm reduction services. This is a way for Tim and his friends to honor Rye Crofter, former executive chef for all of Barbara Lynch restaurants.
