A Brand-New Dazzling Outdoor Holiday Light Experience is coming to The Greater Philadelphia Expo Center

A brand-new, dazzling outdoor holiday light experience is coming to The Fairgrounds at the Greater Philadelphia Expo Center at Oaks starting November 26. “Tinseltown Holiday Spectacular presented by Dietz & Watson” will bring the magic of the holiday season to the Greater Philadelphia Area through an immersive, one-of-a-kind event where guests can stroll through a winter wonderland of lights, check off their holiday shopping list, dine on festive treats and beverages (including adult beverages like Spiked Warm Cider and Christmapolitans), skate on a synthetic ice surface, and much more. Tinseltown will run from Black Friday (November 26) through January 2.

Tickets for Tinseltown are limited and go on sale Friday, October 22 at 11 a.m. through TinseltownHoliday.com. Tickets start at $19.99 for adults and $13.99 for children under 13 – admission is free for children under five. All ticket buyers will be required to select a designated arrival window when purchasing. Capacities are limited and sellouts are anticipated – patrons are encouraged to book their timed tickets early.

“Our guests are going to be blown away by what Tinseltown has to offer, and we’re confident this will quickly become one of the region’s premier holiday events,” said Senior Vice President of Spectacor Events & Entertainment, Emily Dunham. “We have been hard at work creating the ultimate wintertime experience, complete with stunning light sculptures, irresistible culinary offerings, and a touch of Philly magic.  Altogether, we’re creating a can’t-miss holiday tradition for years to come.”

Just a short sleigh ride away from King of Prussia Mall, this illuminated wonderland will showcase breathtaking light sculptures and displays powered by more than 1.2 MILLION light bulbs. Along the way, guests will find larger-than-life sculptures, including a 60-ft light tunnel, glowing baubles, and, of course, Santa’s sleigh. Tinseltown will also showcase some of Philadelphia’s most beloved landmarks and personalities in lights – along the way, you’ll find a massive, walk-through Liberty Bell, illuminations representing Philly sports teams, and a few more holiday-inspired jawns that guests are sure to love along the way.

In addition to the lights, this wintry landscape will offer a selection of concession options where patrons can satisfy their seasonal cravings with culinary treats and holiday ~spirits~. Food items include: Blitzen’s Bavarian Pretzel Sticks, Fa La La La Funnel Cake, The Grinch’s Grilled Cheese Panini, Buddy’s Maple Bourbon Chicken Ciabatta, and more. Spiked Warm Cider, Christmapolitans, Gingerbread White Russians and a lineup of seasonal adult beverages will be available in addition to some good ole hot cocoa for the kids. The full menu of offerings will be announced in the coming weeks.

Guests at Tinseltown can also enjoy Mistletoe Marketplace, a vast artisan village where patrons can complete their holiday shopping list at a variety of vendor kiosks offering festive goods and unique holiday gifts such as hand-crafted ornaments, custom artwork, wintertime clothing and decor.  Local businesses interested in exhibiting in Mistletoe Marketplace can request more information at wfc-groupevents@comcastspectacor.com
