The Philadelphia Wings are Hosting a Special “Emo Night” With a Pre-Game Party at Turf Level Featuring Sad & Boujee
It’s literally a party before the game, as the Philly emo party collective Sad & Boujee will host a emo party at turf level before the Philadelphia Wings game on Saturday March 25th. Doors for the party open at 5 pm with a 5:15 pm kick-off.
The “Open-Standard Ticket” is a Party Zone ticket for the Party Zone located behind the goal at turf level general admission standing room. This area includes yard games and three hours of beer, seltzer, soda and water. Tickets start at $25 can can be purchased here.
The pre-game party is all part of The Wings’ Emo Night theme, “Someone in the office at Comcast Spector also believes it’s not just a phase.,” states Sad & Boujee promoter Sean Salm. Sad & Boujee is a collective that hosts emo parties across the country but originated here in Philly.
“This is the first time Sad & Boujee has ever played for a professional sports team. Oddly enough, it’s not the first time I (Sean) have played at Wells Fargo Center. The first time was with a Limp Bizkit tribute band for the very last Wing Bowl 26 back in 2018. Spike Eskin used to play “Rollin” every time the Eagles won, so it just made sense. As we all know, The Eagles won the Super Bowl that year. Maybe, I’m good luck and can bring enough energy to get the Wings a big win on Saturday too,” Sean adds.
Party goers can expect Sad & Boujee (all emo setlist) before The Wings face-off against The Halifax Thunderbirds at 7 pm. For the halftime performance, fans will be treated to a show by Philly’s own Valencia.
