This event aims to get local musical talent and others in the industry under one roof after a year of isolation and closed stages. With many venues shut down, many artists and music industry professionals have found it difficult to network due to the lack of events and nightlife. However, The AOX Derby looks to alleviate this issue.
“This is an exciting moment because inspired by the pandemic I have been transforming from a career in nightlife and hospitality in philadelphia as a club manager and promoter into a hip hop artist . People know me in the city for opening down nightclub , the retox day party in the piazza , dapfest and curating and managing many other events in Philly and bartending for years at Miss Tootsies on south street. This is my first official sponsored showcase , what’s beautiful about it is I am creating this experience with my cousin Jrdn Aris who helped me to create my style of music, he’s an amazing producer , singer , rapper and songwriter hes the next kanye west . Audio Oxygen is Jrdn’s creation and I’m honored to be a part of it as his first artist,” stated Timmo Russ
