The Cast of In Living Color Will Reunite For the Tribeca Film Festival
Without question one of the best sketch comedy shows of all time will reunite after 25 years. The hit show In Loving Color was the brainchild of Keenen Ivory Wayans. The show sparked the careers of legendary comedians including Jamie Foxx, Tommy Davidson the Wayans family and of course Jim Carrey. Now fans will get to seem them together one more time at this year’s Tribeca Film Festival
This year will mark the 18th Annual Tribeca Film Festival, which is considered the the marquee film festival in the U.S. Organizers plan on screening the original pilot of In Living Color. The festival will take place April 24th to 5th and will also recognize the legendary cartoon series The Simpson, which will celebrate its 30th anniversary in December.
The In Living Color pilot episode is scheduled to be screened April 27th. After the screening, attendees will be treated to a conversation with Keenen Ivory Wayans along with co-stars Shawn Wayans, Kim Wayans, Tommy Davidson, David Alan Grier and Rosie Perez.
Many sketch comedies have come and gone since In Living Color went off the air in 1994 but none have left quite an impression on the comedy cultural landscape quite like In Living Color.
