Roxtoberfest Returns for Its 13th Year With Live Music, Competitions, Classic Car Show, a Marketplace, & Plenty of Beer
The Roxborough Development Corporation is once again bringing the community together for one Philly’s most beloved fall traditions. The 13th Annual Roxtoberfest will take place on Saturday, October 4th from 12 to 5 p.m. along Ridge Avenue between Lyceum Avenue and Leverington Avenue, with activations stretching to Hermitage Street to connect the festival with family fun at Gorgas Park.
Festivalgoers are encouraged to don lederhosen and enjoy the atmosphere of a traditional German beer fest, complete with local brews, live entertainment, and seasonal activities. Highlights include:

For 2025, Roxtoberfest introduces Top of the Ridge, a new beverage tent located at the MGMT Residential Main Stage on Lyceum Avenue. This collaboration between New Ridge Brewing and Top Dog Cocktails will offer craft beers and ready-to-drink cocktails in one spot, giving guests a chance to discover new favorites while celebrating the season.
The festival will once again partner with the Friends of Gorgas Park for the annual Scarecrow Walk and Build. Families can create their own scarecrows, stroll through the scarecrow display, and vote for their favorites as part of the community celebration.
From brass bands and circus acts to scarecrow-making and craft brews, Roxtoberfest continues to blend German-inspired tradition with local Philadelphia character — offering something for everyone to enjoy this fall.
