4 New Food Trucks Will Make Their Debut This Thursday at Night Market in Roxborough
As we draw closer to the end of summer, we have to sadly announce that there are only two more Night Markets remaining. Summer’s biggest food spectacle draws crowds by the thousands, all of which are there for one thing and one thing only and that’s to grub. Enticed by the presence of Philly’s top food trucks, attendees eat their way through a gauntlet of vendors, all serving up some of the best dishes Philly has to offer.
This week’s Night Market takes place in the tree-lined streets of Roxborough from 6-10 pm.
For those looking to attend, be sure to check out the four newbies that will be popping their Night Market cherry this Thursday. Here’s a quick run down on the new addition to the Night Market family.
Chef Momma Joy
If you have a sweet tooth then this is the truck to satisfy it. Chef Momma Joy specializes in yummy baked goods such as brownies, cookies, and a wide range of deserts. Chef Momma Joy’s cub cakes and brownies are stuff of legends. Definitely one of our favorites in the city. This truck is a must try.
Brotherly Grub
This truck has been growing in popularity in the city and it’s almost surprising this is the first Night Market for them. In a nutshell, Brotherly Grub offers up some hardy and meaty sandwiches along with specialty dishes such as crab cakes, shrimp and grits, and duck tostadas (pictured above)! For those looking for more summer time comfort food, Brotherly Grub has some pretty damn good BBQ.
Roasted Liberties
Aside from jaw dropping burgers, Roasted Liberties has an array of mouthwatering dishes such as four different types of wings, hand cut fries, an array of wraps and 5 different types of hot dogs for a hardy app. If you find yourself at this truck, make sure you bring your appetite because as you can see from the photo above they don’t skimp on the serving sizes.
El Guaco Loco
There’s no such thing as too much Mexican food. Tacos and burritos are the ultimate party dishes. So when we heard Night Market was adding another Mexican option we were stoked. El Guaco Loco serves up authentic tacos and burritos and as you can imagine their guacamole is pretty top notch. Not sure about anyone else but I judge my Mexican spots by the guac and El Guaco Loco definitely passes the test.
