So The 1st Ever Philadelphia Wing Festival is About to Kick-Off, Who’s In?
Get ready to wing it on a fall afternoon during our first and fabulous food fest with over sixty delicious styles by Wing Masters from twenty of the area’s best restaurants and food trucks! The indoor/outdoor event takes place at the 2300 Arena (2300 S. Swanson) and is in partnership with A Taste of Your Town & Kisses for Kyle as the official charity.)
Kids eight and under are free during this family friendly event that features $1 Jumbo wings grilled, fried, smoked, sauced, plain, spicy, hot or not. There will be bars, beverage stations and a beer garden with your choice of liquid refreshments. Plus specialty vendors featuring traditional favorites like water ice, funnel cakes, cotton candy, ice cream and more.
Come for the wings but stay for the fun. Enjoy three awesome stages of entertainment with live performances by acoustic acts, cover bands and DJ’s. Dare to get messy while competing for fabulous prizes in the Hot Wing Eating Contest or the Bobbing for Wings (in a hot sauce and ranch mixture)
Tournament. Dress to impress in our Adult and Youth Costume Contests to be awarded the coveted crown for King, Queen, Prince or Princess of Wing Fest 2017. Kids will enjoy face painting, bouncy houses and game activities just for them in a true carnival atmosphere!
All wings & related items will work on a voucher system – vouchers can be purchased at various stations throughout the event and then exchanged at all participating vendors. Beverages along with additional food items (ice cream, cakes, desserts, etc.) will work on a traditional cash transaction basis. Credit card machines will be limited and everyone is encouraged to utilize the provided ATMs on site.
General Admission takes kick-off at 2:00PM while VIP early access starts at 12:00PM for (with limited free parking, open bar, VIP area, select seating, private bathrooms, giveaways & more)
