12 Philly area restaurants make OpenTable’s list of Top 100 Restaurants in the Country. The online reservation site OpenTable issues a list of the Top 100 restaurants in the United States. Dubbed the The annual Diners’ Choice Awards list of Top 100 Fit for Foodies Restaurants in America, Philadelphia had an overwhelming strong presence with 12 restaurants making the list.
Although California ranked higher with 14 restaurants on this year’s list, Pennsylvania tied with Oregon for 2nd place with 13 eateries making the annual list. In case you were wondering, OpenTable judges restaurants by their “unique menus, easygoing ambiance and passionate chefs who have a ‘source local, cook global’ approach,” as OpenTable states.
In case you where wondering where the 13th Pennsylvania restaurant made the list, it was Grit & Grace located in Pittsburgh. Out of a possible 20,000 in all 50 states, only 29 states made the cut.
