The Philadelphia Chinatown Development Corporation (PCDC) is preparing to host the 2026 YèShì Chinatown Night Market on Thursday, October 8, from 6 to 10 p.m. The annual open-air festival takes over the heart of Philadelphia’s Chinatown, transforming the neighborhood into a bustling celebration of food, art and community.

Now a fixture on the city’s fall calendar, YèShì has grown into one of Philly’s most anticipated cultural events, recently earning recognition as the #5 “Best Cultural Festival” in the country by USA Today. This year’s edition promises to be its biggest yet, with more than 90 vendors expected to line the streets alongside live performances, interactive activities and a dedicated Karaoke Stage.

Attendees can wander through a marketplace filled with food trucks, local eateries and neighborhood restaurants dishing out a wide variety of street food, alongside dozens of arts and crafts vendors selling handmade goods. Throughout the evening, the festival will come alive with live performances, sets from local DJs, and a Karaoke Stage inviting guests to join in on the fun. Interactive community game stations, including ping-pong and mahjong, will also be set up for festivalgoers looking to play a round between bites.

YèShì Chinatown Night Market is free to attend, with food, merchandise and activities available for purchase from individual vendors throughout the night.
