VERTS Mediterranean Grill is Opening in Center City and They’re Giving Away Free Food!

Man talk about getting off on the right foot! The key into making it into any Philadelphian’s heart is with great food…..free great food.  This is exactly what Verts Mediterranean Grill plans to do when they open their doors in Center City (1601 Market St.) on March 10th.

From 11 am to 9 pm Verts will be giving away one full size entree per person! The first 100 guests will get a swag bag filled with goodies such as a water bottle, koozies, recipes, sunglasses and more.  In addition to giving away free food and merch, Verts will also be winning over the hearts of Philadelphia foodies by donating 100% of all sales of drinks, sides, and extra entrees to the CAPA Foundation which supports the Philadelphia High School for Creative and Performing Arts.

So What Does Verts Mediterranean Grill Serve?

Dubbed the “Chipoltle of Mediterranean food,” Verts Mediterranean Grill serves up dishes such as kebabs, variations of shawarma as well as gyros.  Guests are able to build their own entrees much like Chipotle.  First you choose a base such as a quinoa bowl, rice bowl pita, or salad.  Then you’re able to add meat (beef, lamb, chicken, turkey, meatballs, or falafel).  From here you can go wild with extras such as chickpeas, pickled jalapeños, carrot slaw, sumac onion and much much more!

Essentially it’s another option for those looking for healthier choices and the ability to build you’re own dishes, which seems to be the popular model among newer restaurants (think Real Food & Honeygrow).  So make sure you head down to Verts Mediterranean Grill for their grand opening and make sure you get there early!
