SUMMARY:Community Hero Action Group Hosts Fourth Annual  Community Health Conference and Festival
DESCRIPTION:Community Hero Action Group (CHAG) will host its fourth annual Pennsylvania Black Health Matters Conference. This free four-day-long hybrid conference will hold a festival on Saturday\, April 13th\, from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. EST held at Vernon Park\, 5800 Germantown Avenue\, Philadelphia\, PA\, with live entertainment\, dancing\, food\, giveaways\, health demos\, a voting lounge\, the “Woosah” area\, and more. The remaining days of the conference include a line-up of prominent speakers such as Senator Art Haywood\, Commissioner Omar Sabir\, and Keisha Hudson\, Philadelphia Chief Defender. Daily topics span from health policy to chronic disease and the interrelatedness of social issues. Participants are encouraged to register via CHAG’s website to receive details about the full line-up. \nThe 2024 PA Black Health Matters Conference theme\, “Release and Restore\,” centers around mental wellness. In a world filled with stress and anxiety\, this year’s conference aims to guide attendees in the art of releasing emotional burdens and negative thought patterns that may be holding them back. By acknowledging and addressing past traumas and daily pressures\, participants will learn techniques for letting go and finding peace within themselves. Additionally\, the conference emphasizes the importance of restoring one’s inner well-being by reigniting passions and rediscovering what brings joy and fulfillment.
