DESCRIPTION:On September 19\, 2026\, Work to Ride will host the 2nd Annual Arena Polo Championship in the Chamounix Equestrian Center in Fairmount Park. As the only organization bringing polo to Philadelphia\, this signature event celebrates the extraordinary accomplishments of Work to Ride’s student-athletes and alumni while fundraising for one of Philadelphia’s most impactful youth development organizations. Work to Ride’s Arena Polo Championship is a day of high-energy arena polo with Work to Ride alumni and local champions competing in two thrilling tournament matches. Based in the new McCausland Arena\, the action takes place just feet from spectators in the largest indoor urban riding arena in the tri-state area. In addition to the Arena Polo Championship’s exciting polo matches\, guests can expect local food trucks\, including Wokworks and The Coffee Club PHL\, a pop-up bar from MilkBoy\, and pop-up shops from Beyond Bubbles and Gail’s Amazing Cakes. Between matches\, guests can enjoy lawn games\, live DJ music and a special interactive experience from Philly Goat Project.

Between matches\, guests can enjoy lawn games\, live DJ music and a special interactive experience from Philly Goat Project. \nGates will open at 11:00 AM for the First Match between current Work to Ride students and alumni\, which begins at 11:30 AM. Gates will temporarily close at 1:00 PM and reopen at 2:00 PM for the Championship Match between the Mt. Gordon Farms and Mars Equestrian teams\, which starts at 2:30 PM.
