DESCRIPTION:Don’t miss another opportunity to visit Andalusia Historic House\, Gardens & Arboretum on a Saturday! Andalusia will be open Saturday\, May 30\, from 10am to 5pm\, with tours of the Historic House every 30 minutes\, as well as special programming. \n  \nAndalusia’s beloved Rose Garden will be in bloom\, with complimentary Rose Tours included in the cost of admission. Resident Rosarian Heather Schmidt will lead guests through the garden\, sharing her expertise on rose care\, providing insights into how she tends this stunning display. With over 100 varieties of roses in bloom\, you’ll be dazzled by the colors\, fragrances\, and sheer beauty. \n  \nGuests can partake in Yoga in the Gardens\, a one-hour Vinyasa Flow style yoga session led by Trina Shumsonk of Atlas Yoga & Movement. Starts at 11am. Additional ticket required. \n  \nArtist Jody Graff will be on-site throughout the day for a Q&A with guests discussing her art installation that is on view in conjunction with ‘Radical Americana\,’ organized by The Clay Studio. Graff will also have prints and other products for sale. \n  \nLastly\, don’t miss our Champagne Garden Tour at 4:30pm led by Horticulturist Kristen Biddle. Join us on the grand porch of the Big House\, overlooking the Delaware River\, for a glass of champagne and light refreshments\, followed by a guided tour of our formal gardens. We’re open from 10am to 5pm. \nGarden admission is $20/person\, with the option to add a tour of the Historic House for an additional $10. Kids 12 & under visit for free. \nAtlas Yoga & Movement will host their popular ‘Yoga in the Gardens’ class outdoors at 11am. Tickets are $40 and include admission to the gardens for the entire day. \nAlso\, visitors can join contemporary artist Jody Graff for a one-hour walking tour of her new art installation\, and the locations throughout Andalusia where she found inspiration and collected plant specimens for her work. Jody’s work is presented as part of Radical Americana\, organized in partnership with The Clay Studio. This tour is included with the cost of admission and is free for members.

Visit us to see our new additions\, including two special exhibitions celebrating America’s 250th\, as well as new rose pillars and ornamental topiaries in the Walled Garden. \nGeneral admission to the gardens is $20 per person\, with a guided tour of the Historic House available for an additional $10. House tour tickets are required to view the two new exhibitions. Children aged 12 and under visit for free\, as do members. Tickets can be purchased online at andalusiapa.org\, or on-site upon arrival at Andalusia. Reservations are highly encouraged for house tours.
