UPenn Tops Grubhub’s List of Healthiest College Eaters
My college years proceeded smart phones, apps and online orders. For us older Temple heads it was all about 4th meals and Peking Garden. However, these days students literally have the world at their finger tips and can summon food from just about any eatery in the city. So when it comes down to the choices current students are making, UPenn students make the healthiest decisions in the country according to a recent Grubhub Study.
From fall 2016 up until spring 2017, Grubhub monitored student’s buying habits across the country. Second place went to Rollins College in Florida. The only other school in the city to make the list was Thomas Jefferson University which just made the top 20. Looks like the other city schools just cannot resist junk food and red meat.
Penn students also cracked the top 10 in Grubhub’s list of vegetarian and vegan orders as well as placing 7th on the list of “most caffeinated.” In case you were wondering, The University of Chicago students consume the most caffeine in the U.S.
