UNFRAMED, a New Cocktail Bar and Ultra Lounge Concept, Opens in Old City
New to Philadelphia’s Old City neighborhood, UNFRAMED (222 Market St.) offers a first of its kind concept to Philadelphia’s nightlife scene, designed to provide guests with elevated dining and late-night leisure housed under one roof. Following a year of success with restaurant concept Frame in February of last year, UNFRAMED- located on 2nd and Market Streets- will serve as a vibrant extension to the sultry social hub, top-tier bottle service, and sets from renowned DJs.
Inspired by the unknown, UNFRAMED is to be discovered — revealing thought provoking design to those who venture through its intentionally non-descript entrance. The location, marked by a subtle emblem, gives way to an intimate and glamorous lounge space, housing velvet booth seating, exposed brick walls, eccentric artwork, and state-of-the-art music and lighting. Offering a total of 9 booths dispersed throughout the intimate venue, the space encourages guests to interact with curiosity each visit and form their own unique interpretations.
UNFRAMED is located above FRAME, an inventive yet nostalgic American-fusion concept designed to immerse the senses through familiar yet elevated food and drink. Centered around locally sourced ingredients, FRAME offers fare ranging from hot and cold appetizers like tuna tartare, vegetarian beet carpaccio, Spanish octopus, seared scallops; mains like ratatouille and sesame crusted tuna, and 14oz dry rib eye for the table.
The ultra lounge comes alive through a series of local and national guest DJ’s and themed events, transforming the space into an ever-evolving experience each through different musical genres and talents. The UNFRAMED bar menu features top shelf bottle service and smart cocktails, highlights include Old fashioned, Martinis, Margaritas, Espresso Martinis ensuring premium beverage choices for spirit lovers and cocktail enthusiasts alike.
UNFRAMED is also available to be booked for private events, with a standing capacity of 140 and will be open Thursdays 10p.m. – 2a.m, and Friday – Saturday 11p.m. – 2a.m.
