Underground Arts is Hosting &FRIENDS Featuring a Night of Live Music, DJs, Engaging Panels, and Vendors
Perhaps you enjoy live music or maybe you’re idea of a great night is listening to DJs, or panels, or perhaps shopping. What if you could do all these things in one place. Well, Underground Arts (1200 Callowhill St.) is hosting the &FRIENDS end of year celebration on December 21st.
This special event series celebrates community, friendship, and togetherness. Each gathering features a diverse lineup of DJs, performers, artists, and local brands. It’s a space to meet new people, dance, network, and appreciate the talents of our “& Friends” crew.
This end of year celebration will take place 8 pm – 2 am and will honor the artists, entrepreneurs, and supporters who have helped Black Soul Summer thrive and spread its mission. Hosted by Brotha Taaj & Black Soul Summer, in partnership with Underground Arts & Almost Famous.
“Expect an electrifying lineup of special guest DJs and live performances that will keep the energy high. Our inaugural Black Event Innovators Forum will feature two (2) engaging panel discussions, providing valuable insights from industry leaders and creatives such as Will Toms (Rec Philly), Robbie Long (Live24Hours), Sonia Blount (Kabila Events), Ryan Dorsey (Mr.Ivy/Winston Hospitality) and more. We are collaborating with Almost Famous to produce a vendor market to help you finish off that holiday shopping with some of the dopest local designers and brands. Immerse yourself in our live art gallery with some of Philly’s finest visual artists while you dance the night away,” Brotha Taaj describes.
Tickets are $20 for GA and $35 for VIP (includes Black Soul Summer T-Shirt) and can be purchased blacksoulsummer.com/

“We are extremely excited to be partnering with Underground Arts, which has been a staple of the local music and art community for over a decade, to bring our Black Soul Summer programming to the space. This year we’ve seen incredible growth in building a new creative ecosystem for Black & Brown entrepreneurs through our e-commerce platform in Philadelphia and beyond. This event will be the culmination of all the hard work our team has put in and highlight the artists and supporters who have helped us along this journey,” stated Melvin Powell, Co-Founder (Sync Production Group.
