This unique venue is perfect for this year’s Preview Party theme: “Passport to Le Dîner en Blanc”. This theme is especially exciting for Philadelphia as It is the city’s celebration of cultural diversity that makes it such a special place to live, work, and play. In honor of the 30th Anniversary of the event in Paris and 80 cities the event is now held throughout the world, the Preview Party will celebrate the global phenomenon that is Le Dîner en Blanc.
“With the 7th Le Dîner en Blanc in Philadelphia we are celebrating the global phenomenon of Le Dîner en Blanc,” said co-host Natanya DiBona. “20,000 guests, including 5,000 people traveling from all over the Dîner en Blanc world, will gather in Paris celebrate its 30th Anniversary on June 3rd and the event will be held in 80 cities around the world this year. Philadelphia was one of the first cities to host the event the year Dîner en Blanc International was established in 2012 and its incredible to see the growth of the event since. Philadelphia is truly an international city and we are proud to join so many cities around the world in hosting an event that celebrates the power of a shared meal and its ability to bring people together to build community.”
Area florists, event planners, and visual directors will present elegant and elaborate table displays to represent many of the beautiful Le Dîner en Blanc cities around the world from Paris, Montreal and London to Sydney, Ho Chi Minh, and Johannesburg. There will also be a People’s Choice winner and all attendees are encouraged to cast their vote for their favorite display.
